Athletes from Kiffmann’s Maui Elite Taekwondo won five sparring medals at the AAU Taekwondo National Championships, held last week at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Madex Greenwell claimed the club’s lone gold medal, winning the 8-9 years old male advanced 55.1 pounds and under title. Also in color belts, Sebastian Recta won bronze in the 8-9 male intermediate 55.1 and under division.

Among black belts, Jerico San Agustin had the best finish among Kiffmann athletes, winning the silver medal in the male 18-32 119 and under division. His finish qualified him for the upcoming national team trials.
