Gustav Iden of Norway begins the marathon portion of the Ironman World Championship triathlon on Saturday in Kailua-Kona. Iden won the grueling race in a time of 7 hours, 40 minutes, 24 seconds, nearly 10 minutes faster than the previous course record set by Jan Frodeno in 2019.
