The University of Nevada-Las Vegas men's basketball team ran its record to 9-0 with a 77-62 win over Hawaii in Henderson, Nevada, on Wednesday.
Four Runnin' Rebels scored in double figures, Luis Rodriguez had 18 points, Keshon Gilbert and Justin Webster each had 13, and Elijah Harkless added 10.
Hawaii (5-3) was led by Kamaka Hepa, who had 15 points.
UH forced 21 turnovers and committed just 12, but UNLV outscored Hawaii 18-2 on fast break points.
Hawaii did not lead in the game and UNLV's largest lead was 21, just over a minute in to the second half.
The Rainbow Warriors return home for a Sunday night game against Saint Francis. Their next action after that will be the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic Dec. 22, 23 and 25 -- UH opens with Pepperdine on Dec. 22.
