• Future Plans: I do plan on continuing my education, somewhere in California and I want to study law. I am not too sure yet if I want to play sports in college, but if I don't end up playing I definitely wouldn't mind doing intramural leagues in college.
• Sports Lessons: What I enjoy the most about being an athlete is being able to play and meet new people, learn life lessons, and have healthy competitive exercise all while playing the sports I love.
Being an athlete has taught me a lot. It has taught me teamwork, leadership, hard work, and how to handle pressure. But the most impactful thing sports has taught me is the importance of character. How my actions can affect someone else and how important it is to grit.
* Sports Spotlight students are selected by school administrators and athletic officials from Maui County high schools and these profiles are compiled by the advertising department of The Maui News. Alexander & Baldwin makes a $200 donation in honor of each student athlete to their high school's athletic fund. Each school year, 84 students are recognized.
