• Grade: 12 / GPA: 3.6

Multiple college courses

• Sports: Softball, Wrestling

• Future Plans: I plan to continue my education after the military. In college I plan to join club sports. Being able to play sports after high school has always helped me to play harder on my high school teams.

• Sports Lessons: Being an athlete is one of the most memorable things in high school. Making and cherishing memories and bonds that are made through sports are what make sports worth playing.

Being an athlete has taught me sportsmanship and just to have fun. Though there are times it may be hard to have fun or show sportsmanship, the bonds you make with the sport and players make the hard times worth it. The lessons I've learned are what makes these things memorable.

* Sports Spotlight students are selected by school administrators and athletic officials from Maui County high schools and these profiles are compiled by the advertising department of The Maui News. Alexander & Baldwin makes a $200 donation in honor of each student athlete to their high school's athletic programs.
