• Future Plans: I would like to attend college. I would like to stay in the state or go to the west coast. I'm undecided on a major, but I enjoy learning about all types of history and sustainability of our 'aina on Maui. I would like to try to play basketball or volleyball at the college level.
• Sports Lessons: I've always enjoyed being a part of a team, both growing up playing youth sports and in high school. My teammates and I learn together, we support and challenge each other, and we learn to not give up when things get difficult.
Being an athlete allows me to participate in sports that I love. It allows me to train and compete with friends who have the same interests, and it allows me to be mentored by coaches who also love the sport and have lots to teach.
