The University of Hawaii men's basketball team dropped a 54-52 decision to UC Riverside on Thursday night at the Stan Sheriff Center.
Hawaii led the game 25-14 at halftime, but the Rainbow Warriors committed 12 turnovers while forcing just five from the Highlanders.
Bernardo Da Silva led UH with 15 points, while Kamaka Hepa added 14 and Noel Coleman had 10.
Zyon Pullin led UC Riverside with 24 points and Lachlan Olbrich added 13. Pullin had 18 points in the second half and Olbrich had nine.
Hawaii fell to 20-9 overall and 11-6 in the Big West Conference, while UCR improved to 20-10 and 13-5.
Hawaii hosts UC Irvine on Saturday at 5 p.m. in a game that will televised by ESPN2.
