• Lahainaluna High School

• Grade: 12

• Sports: Water Polo, Paddling, Soccer

• Future Plans: I plan on going to the University of Hawaii at Hilo. I would like to continue with sports, it all depends on my academics first.

• Sports Lessons: I enjoy the athlete community. Everyone is so supportive. I also enjoy the feeling of being able to escape my worries & troubles. Playing sports is like an escape from reality.

Being an athlete has taught me how to manage my time & prioritize things. Before an athlete I am a student which means that I must prioritize school before I prioritize my athletics. Growing up I always thought that playing sports was a privilege.

* Sports Spotlight students are selected by school administrators and athletic officials from Maui County high schools and these profiles are compiled by the advertising department of The Maui News. Alexander & Baldwin makes a $200 donation in honor of each student athlete to their high school's athletic programs.
