• Sports Lessons: What I enjoy most about being an athlete is the relationships that I developed. My teammates and coaches make up my second family. We all have one goal that we work towards, doing our own small individual jobs in order to succeed. Being an athlete has taught me that discipline and efficiency are crucial in sports and life. Removing unhelpful mindsets and relationships is difficult but necessary to succeed in reaching goals. As well as sticking to your plans day in and day out. There's plenty to learn!
* Sports Spotlight students are selected by school administrators and athletic officials from Maui County high schools and these profiles are compiled by the advertising department of The Maui News. Alexander & Baldwin makes a $200 donation in honor of each student athlete to their high school's athletic programs.
