• Sports Lessons: The most enjoyable thing that being an athlete has gifted me would be the sisterhood that my teammates and I have established since sixth grade. Not many people have the opportunity to say that they have played with the same group of girls for seven years, but being an athlete in a close-knit community like Lana'i has blessed me with a friendship that I will cherish forever.
Being an athlete has taught me how to responsibly manage time for school, sports, and my personal life. In addition to time management, I have learned how to set goals for myself, even small ones.
