• Sports Lessons: The grind or "comeback" from a physi- cal/mental injury. I knew that when I healed, I would have a drive that no one else had. A personal fire that was being fed by my emotions, goals, and passion for my sport. Talent only takes you so far. Hard work, determination, the ability to come back again and again, through any hardship(s) is what separates those from the rest. This concept applies outside of sports, really to any aspect of life. Balance in your life, is another lesson I've been taught. Relationships, school, sports, and life in general all thrown into an equation and having to find the golden ratio.
