The high school baseball season on Maui starts today with the 47th annual Maui High School Preseason Baseball Tournament.
The event will be held today through Saturday at Maehara Stadium with a total of 13 pre-scheduled games to be played.
Today's action begins at 11:30 a.m. with King Kekaulike facing Pac-5; Kamehameha Maui is set to play Kapaa at 2 p.m.; Maui High faces Kauai at 4:30; and Punahou takes on Baldwin at 7.
Five games are slated for Friday: at 9 a.m., Kauai plays Lahainaluna; Kapaa takes on Baldwin at 11:30 a.m.; King Kekaulike plays Punahou at 2 p.m.; Kamehameha Maui takes on Punahou at 4:30; and Maui High plays Pac-5 at 7.
On Saturday, Maui High plays Punahou at 9 a.m.; Kauai faces Kamehameha Maui at 11:30 a.m.; King Kekaulike plays Kapaa at 2 p.m.; and the event concludes with Baldwin vs. Pac-5 at 4:30.
