• Sports Lessons: The thing I enjoy about being a student athlete is being able to play the sport I loved growing up. There are plenty of things to enjoy about being a student athlete but one thing stands out. That one thing that stands out to me is when I encourage and influence other athletes to go past their limits. Being an athlete taught me many things that I can apply to the world after high school. It taught me teamwork, communication, leadership, time management and much more. Out of all of those lessons, the most important I have learned was mental toughness & work ethics. Without these two things you wouldn't be able to have the competitiveness when it comes to games and you wouldn't have the skills if you don't put in the work.
