Hana Takedown Club wins

The Hana Takedown Club won the opening Maui Style Wrestling tournament Saturday at Parley Kanakaole Gym in Hana. The tournament drew 273 wrestlers from nine clubs. Hana scored 559.5 points, while 808 Wrestling was second with 472, MTS-Nakamura was third with 320.5 and Napili Surfriders fourth with 301.5. Hatchet May, of Kihei Maulers, first photo, puts Aiden Neumann, of MTS-Nakamura, on his back in winning the 12U 81-89 pound division. Zayden HIrouji, of Napili Surfriders, second photo, turns Kanai Gumanas, of Hana Takedown, before losing in the 12U 58-60 pound match. [gallery ids="1186563,1186564"]
