• Sports Lessons: Some things I enjoy the most about being an athlete is the connections and lifelong friends that I make. Sports go beyond winning, but the people you meet and the connections you make. I am also thankful for the valuable life lessons that I learn from my coaches and from the people around me. Being an athlete has taught me that collaboration is key. It has also taught me to put others before yourself and that the team is greater than yourself. It has also taught me that playing sports can take you all over the world and will expand your horizons.
