Kaikanoa Kaahanui hit an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the King Kekaulike High School baseball team to a 6-5 victory over Kamehameha Maui on Saturday at Maehara Stadium.

Kaahanui's line drive to left field scored Jaxon Wong and sent Na Alii (1-5) to its first win of the Maui Interscholastic League Division I season.

After the Warriors (2-1) scored five runs in the top of the sixth inning to take a 5-4 lead, Na Alii tied it up in the seventh when Cade Yamada scored after River Morris lined out. After an intentional walk to Cove Campas, Kaahanui delivered the game-winning hit as King Kekaulike avoid a series sweep.

In the first game Saturday at Maehara, Baldwin improved to 6-0 with an 8-0 win over Lahainaluna (0-6).

Jevon Raboy drove in two runs for the Bears. Four Baldwin pitchers combined for the three-hit shutout, led by starter Jayden Perry-Waikiki, who struck out seven and allowed one hit in three innings of work.

At Lanai City, Molokai remained undefeated by defeating Lanai 11-5 on Saturday.

Miken Loo had two RBIs and two runs scored for the Farmers (8-0).

AJ Sigrah had two hits for the Pine Lads (2-5).
