The Maui High girls basketball team.

Maui High School’s girls basketball team came within three points of winning in their game against Campbell High School during state tournament on Oahu, losing 36-33.

The Maui High team had been 14-0 this season and were the Maui Interscholastic League champions.

The good news is four of the starters will be returning next year, including Darcee Seegmiller and Naiara Bal.

Bal and Seegmiller were each named Player of the Game on several occasions in the past Maui Interscholastic League season.
