Activities/hobbies/volunteer work during free time: Reading, listening to music, playing piano & guitar, skateboarding. Sometimes I volunteer at a local farm called Simple Roots. I attend Church Youth Group.

Future Plans: I would like to get my Massage Therapy License on Maui. And maybe eventually pursue school for Physical Therapy.

Sports Lessons: The thing I enjoy most is being out in nature; my favorite thing in the world is surfing at dawn and dusk, watching the sunset and rise while in the water.

Being an athlete has taught me to work hard, to push through pain and fatigue until I can’t continue, then push just a little further. Participating in sports has taught me commitment, and that hard work does pay off, no matter how daunting a goal seems. I have learned that pain and difficulty, in both sports and everyday life, are the best opportunities for improvement.
