An inclusive community "Roll With Us" event will be Nov. 7 at Keopuolani Regional Park, bringing families, volunteers and participants together for an accessible outdoor activity.
The event, organized in partnership with Empower Fitness Maui, will run from 9 to 11 a.m. Participants will meet near the park's playground area and can choose their preferred way to roll, including bicycles, hand-cycles, roller skates, skateboards and scooters.
Organizers are inviting people of all abilities to participate and encourage attendees to RSVP so accommodations and assistance can be arranged as needed.
The group will travel together along the park's path. Volunteers also are welcome to participate by sharing skills, helping with organization, providing support or connecting with other mentors.
