Halloween fishing tournament gives back to community
Chimo Shipp, who founded the Maui Feeding Frenzy Fishing Tournament, created the nonprofit to shine a light on the importance of supporting local fishermen across the island and to help address food insecurity in the community. Through the event, Shipp aims not only to provide fresh catches to families in need but also to bring the community together in a shared effort to give back and celebrate Maui’s natural resources.
