Seabury Hall volleyball downs Maui Prep

Seabury Spartans defeated Maui Prep 3-0 on Oct. 2 with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-14. Destiny Keomama Wood led the Spartans with 30 assists, one dig, one kill and two blocks. Milania Padilla recorded 10 kills, four aces, one dig, and Teegan Ibarra had nine kills and four blocks. Also, Malu Abrantes recorded three blocks and two kills. Dillon McLellan scored five kills and one dig, alongside teammate Kamalei Stewart's three kills. As for aces, Isla Carlsen scored 3 with a dig, and Tulsi Erlemann had two and two digs.

Maui High boys, KS-Maui girls top teams at XC meet

Maui High emerged as the top boys team at Maui Interscholastic League cross country meet Oct. 3 at Kamehameha Schools Maui. The Sabers finished first with 40 points, followed by King Kekaulike in second and Seabury Hall in third. Maui High placed five runners among the top 16, led by runner-up Carleton Kinkade in 18 minutes, 28 seconds. King Kekaulike’s Alexander Lehman was the fastest runner, winning the 5,000-meter race in 18:03. Kamehameha Maui’s Noah Knapp took third in 18:50.
