Cross country runners compete in Lahaina with league championships on horizon
The Maui High boys narrowly edged out Seabury Hall in a 5,000-meter Maui Interscholastic League race Saturday in Lahaina. The two teams were separated by four places. Behind them, Baldwin took third with King Kekaulike fourth and Maui Prep fifth. In the girls race, Seabury Hall finished first, followed by Kamehameha Maui and Maui High. Runners will compete again Saturday at King Kekaulike High School in the final race before the MIL championship on Oct. 25 at Keopuolani Regional Park in Kahului.
