Some Maui public schools postpone blending learning
The Baldwin-Kekaulike-Maui Complex announced today that it will push back blending learning plans scheduled at the complex schools this week due to the rise in COVID-19 cases on Maui.
Complex Area Superintendent Kathleen Diminio said in a letter that the scheduled shift to more in-person learning is pushed to Feb. 1.
While the schools did not see any COVID-19 impacts to its campuses during the winter break, Diminio attributed the setback to the county cases.
She said schools will continue using the learning models in place during the second quarter.
There was no immediate word today about the Hana-Lahainaluna-Lanai-Molokai Complex Area schools.
