Family Life Center to receive four county-owned mobile housing units

The Maui News The Family Life Center Inc. is set to receive four county-owned mobile housing units that were acquired at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to address emergency needs. Visitor arrivals in September higher than at same time prior to pandemic

Maui saw the second-highest amount of visitors in the state in September as the Valley Isle continues to see a recovery in tourism and visitor spending, according to preliminary visitor statistics released last week by the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism. FEMA to reimburse county for testing

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has authorized the release of more than $1.5 million to Maui County to reimburse the public funds it spent to test people for COVID-19 from October 2020 through September 2021.
