Jobs open for 2023 legislative session

The Hawaii State Senate is accepting job applications for the upcoming 2023 legislative session. Session jobs are temporary and require a four- to six-month commitment, starting in December or January, depending on the position, according to a news release from the Senate. DOH recommends bivalent shot for kids

The state Department of Health is recommending COVID-19 bivalent booster vaccines for everyone ages 5 and older after federal officials approved emergency use of the shots for a wider swath of the population.
