COVID cases decline to 6 at jail

The number of inmates with active COVID-19 cases dropped to six at the Maui Community Correctional Center in the week that ended Tuesday, according to the state Department of Public Safety. The number declined after three inmates recovered. During the period, 74 inmates tested negative for COVID, the department reported.
