‘LEGALLY BLONDE: THE MUSICAL’ GOLDEN PLAY

OPERA MAUI INAUGURAL CONCERT AT THE MACC
Opera Maui will sing it to the rafters at 7:30 p.m. during its inaugural concert featuring Hawaii Grammy Award-winning opera stars Quinn Kelsey and Audrey Luna; and Metropolitan Opera’s Shoshanah Marote, and Jim Price, the headliner of Maui’s hit summer musical, “Les Miserables.” Toronto-based Hawaiian pianist Maika’i Nash accompanies. Welcome artists Ian Tremewen and Lorraine Abernethy back from Australia from 6 to 9 p.m. at a festive opening reception of their annual exhibition of their recent work at the Village Galleries in Lahaina. The “Drama Queen” (Kristi Scott and “Keyboard Kim” Kim Vetterli are teaming up again to host two more drama/music kamps this summer for keiki at the ProArts Playhouse in Azeka Shopping Center in Kihei. The first runs from 9 a.m. to noon today through Friday; and the second is from July 28 to Aug. 1. Extended daycare available. Kids ages 5 to 12 will play fun drama games and learn music techniques. GUITARISTS TO BENEFIT NATURE CONSERVANCY
