The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunrise presents its third annual Oktoberfest Extravaganza from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Historic Pioneer Inn in Lahaina. SURF FILM PREMIERES IN CASTLE THEATER

“Attractive Distractions” surf film premiere will screen at 7 p.m. in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater. It will feature 12 of the most progressive young surfers today on a journey from their hometowns to far-off destinations, capturing surfing at its highest level. The film highlights the surfer’s world of “attractive distractions” and the emotions it entails. Tickets are $12 and children 12 and younger admitted for $7 (plus applicable fees).
