OBON SEASON KICKOFF AT LAHAINA MISSION
Lahaina Shingon Mission Obon Festival, a colorful Japanese cultural event, starts with a service at 6:30 p.m. and dancing from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Obon is an annual summer festival held at Buddhist temples in remembrance of loved ones who have passed away.
