HONORING THE 150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ROYAL ORDER OF KAMEHAMEHA I. Friday: The Na Kamehameha Commemorative Pa’u Parade and Ho’olaule’a festivities kick off at the Second Friday Town Party from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at Campbell Park in Lahaina. Entertainment will be provided by Maui Jam from 5 to 6:45 p.m. and Na Wai ‘Eha from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday: The parade will commence at 9:45 a.m. from Kenui Street down to Front Street and to Shaw Street (Front Street will be closed to vehicles from 8:30 a.m.) Later, make your way to the banyan tree and enjoy the ho’olaule’a. It will begin at 9 a.m. and includes exhibits, keiki art activities, a pa’u awards presentation, food booths supporting nonprofits, Maui-made crafts, music and hula. For more details, call 264-8779.
