STATE CHILI COOKOFF AT ULUPALAKUA RANCH

The third annual Chili Appreciation Society International Hawaii State Chili Championship Cookoff will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Maui’s winery on Ulupalakua Ranch. The public can purchase tasting kits to sample chili ($5 for five tastes) and vote for People’s Choice. Proceeds benefit the Maui 4-H Livestock Association. The Sunday Drive event will also include live music by the Haiku Hillbillys and Bradda Francis as well as ono grinds at the Ranch Store & Grill.
