A TRIBUTE TO PRINCE AT MAKAWAO FRIDAY PARTY

Makawao Third Friday has the theme of “When Doves Cry,” featuring a night of music in tribute to the legendary artist Prince by DJ Blast on the main stage from 5:30 to 8 :30 p.m. Check out line dancing by Keone’s Hot Lava Studio near the corner of Nakui Road at 7 p.m. There will be a new keiki zone in the Komoda Store parking lot. TWO NIGHTS OF SEABURY HALL’S ‘SIDE SHOWS’

Seabury Hall Performing Arts concludes its season with “Side Shows.” Performances are at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the ‘A’ali’ikuhonua Creative Arts Center on the school campus in Makawao. Admission is free, with donations welcomed.

‘SWIM & FIN’ SPECIAL OLYMPICS FUNDRAISER

Support the third annual Swim & Fin event to benefit the Special Olympics Maui swim team at Pukalani Aquatics Center. Registration will be at 8:45 a.m. and the event will run from 9 a.m. to noon.
