Early-education specialist and musician Uncle Wayne Watkins and the Howling Dog Band will have a sing-along concert at 6:30 p.m. at Makawao Public Library.

MAUI FILM FESTIVAL KICKS OFF IN WAILEA

Celebrate the kickoff of Maui Film Festival at the Taste of Summer opening party from 5 to 7 p.m. oceanside at Molokini Gardens at Grand Wailea. Tickets are $170 online and $195 at the door. There will be a Rising Star Award Tribute for actors Kelly Rohrback and Wyatt Russell at 7:45 p.m. at the Celestial Cinema, Wailea.
