LAHAINA FRIDAY TOWN PARTY TO KICKOFF MELE MEI MA MAUI. Lahaina's Second Friday Town Party will kickoff Mele Mei "May Hawaiian Music Month" at 5 p.m. with Maui Jam followed by award-winning recording artist Nathan Aweau. Visit Maui Writers Ink at the local authors table along with local Hawaiian history author Jill Engledow. Winners from the fourth annual Short Story Writing Contest will be announced, too.
