Kahului Hongwanji Mission Obon Festival starts with a service at 6:15 p.m. followed by dancing at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Buddhist Study Center Summer Session and Maui Hongwanji Concil present "Jodo Shinshu in the Land of Shakyamuni" talk from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday. The mission is located at 291 S.
