FULL MOON FIRE BASH ENCORE EVENT IN KAHULUI

Maui Mall and Maui Food Bank present the "Full Moon Fire Bash" encore event at center stage from 7 to 8 p.m. at Maui Mall. Cupcake Ladies Catering Co. will be selling mini-cupcakes for $1 each to benefit the Maui Food Bank. Enjoy performances by Tahitian dancers, fire knife dancers and Polynesian drummers.

SEE PIERO RESTA: ILLUMINATUS EXHIBIT

Celebrate the legacy left by Piero Resta by visiting the Piero Resta: Illuminatus exhibit at the Schaefer International Gallery at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului. TWO-DAY OBON FESTIVAL AT PAIA MISSION

Mantokuji Soto Zen Mission of Paia Obon Festival starts with a service at 6 p.m., food booths at 6:30 p.m. followed by a taiko performance at 7 p.m. and dancing will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The mission is located at 253 Hana Highway, Paia. Call 579-8051, for more details.

STORY TIME FOR KEIKI AT MAUI OCEAN CENTER

Read Aloud America Program presents a Keiki Story Time in the Makai Theatre of Maui Ocean Center at 1:30 p.m. for ages pre-kindergarten through 2nd grade. MONDAY, JULY 10

CABARET NIGHT AT CAFE DEL VINO RESTAURANT

Enjoy an evening with a four course dinner and cabaret show at Cafe del Vino on the upper level of Maalaea Harbor Shops. Open for dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Seatings are at 5:30, 6 and 6:30 p.m. Show begins at 7 p.m. Cost is $70 and includes performance and four-course feast plus tax and tip.

STORY OF THE UKULELE STRUMS IN KIHEI LIBRARY

The Hawaiian Serenaders, Richard Tom and Mele Fong, will share information about the ukulele at 6:30 p.m. at Kihei Public Library. Young children must be accompanied by a parent or adult caregiver.
