CARLETON GRASPS ISLE NOSTALGIC CHARM: Village Galleries in Lahaina will open 2018 with a gala reception from 6 to 9 p.m. with refreshments and live music for award-winning plein-air artist Carleton, a repeat winner of the Lahaina Poster contest whose light-filled oils reflect the island's landscape and subjects.
