CATCH FAMILY-FRIENDLY ADAPTATION OF CLASSIC HOLIDAY STORY
Maui audiences are in for a sweet treat this holiday season with Maui Academy of Performing Arts' presentation of "Nutcracker Sweets" -- a delicious take on the Tchaikovsky holiday staple featuring sumptuous costumes, inspired choreography and a talented consortium of MAPA youth dance students, alumni, dance instructors and members of the Maui performing arts community. Performances are at 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday in Castle Theater at the MACC. Tickets range from $18 to $30 (plus applicable fees) with discounted tickets available for kids 12 and younger.
