OCEAN ECOLOGY COMES ALIVE IN A FUSION OF PERFORMING AND VISUAL ARTS
ECOEVOLUTION, the latest incarnation of the popular ArT=Mixx interactive social mixer for adults returns with its intoxicating blend of visual, video, performance and interactive art -- plus music fashion and dance -- from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday in Yokouchi Pavilion, the Schaefer International Gallery and A&B Amphitheater. Tying into the Schaefer's current exhibit, "Surfing Hawai'i," the event follows the theme of ocean ecology, evolution of species and earth cycles. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed for the occasion -- costumes are welcome. Food and beverage is available for purchase. Admission to ArT=Mixx is free and open to those 21 years and older with valid photo ID. The ArT=Mixx VIP Lounge returns this year for those who purchase a $45 VIP ticket (plus applicable fees).
