Take in snowy landscapes and dramatic board-sport action at the Starry Night Cinema event featuring Warren Miller’s film “No Turning Back” on Friday at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.
The film is the action sports pioneer’s 65th snow sports and adventure film and pays homage to more than six decades of Miller’s work in the industry, according to the MACC.
Miller’s annual film tradition celebrates the use of premier cinematography to capture the extreme winter wildernesses of places like Japan, the Swiss Alps, Montana, France and more.
The film, free to attend, will start at 6:30 p.m. in the A&B Amphitheater. Gates will open at 5 p.m. for audience members to pick spots on the lawn, and enjoy live music and a free children’s art activity. Blankets, mats or low-back beach chairs are welcome. Food vendors will be on site.
