The Maui Film Festival’s FirstLight: Academy Screenings on Maui wraps up this week with two more days of screenings in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater.
Admission to FirstLight is possible using either the Maui Film Festival’s $48 4-Film VIP FirstLight FastPasses or by purchasing individual tickets for $15. Passes are available at the MACC box office, by calling 242-7469, or by visiting www.mauifilmfestival.com or www.mauiarts.org.

“IDA” PG-13, 1:22. Drama. Screening is at 2 p.m. Friday.
Anna, a young novitiate nun in 1960s Poland, is on the verge of taking her vows when she discovers a dark family secret dating back to the years of the Nazi occupation. Starring Agata Kulesza, Agata Trzebuchowska and Dawid Ogrodnik.
