• Bon Dance practice with Jonah Valois-Nishimura will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for four Sundays -- today and May 26; June 2 and 16 at Kahului Jodo Mission, 325 Laau St. Come and learn the new dance for this year, refresh yourself with the old ones, get some dancerise and socialize. ** "Video Editing with Final Cut Pro" will be from 3 to 7 p.m., starting Monday through May 20. This class requires a basic understanding of Macintosh computers, and is recommended for those who are willing to dedicate the time to master the editing process. Cost is $300 for adults, $240 for members and $150 for youth.
** "Studio Production" will be from 4 to 7 p.m., May 22 through 31. This class will cover lighting techniques and microphones, camera operation and all positions in the control room. Included is instruction in using the teleprompter, computer graphics generator, switcher, playback and sound. Cost is $200 for adults, $160 for members and $100 for youth.
• Business workshops. The following County of Maui Mayor's Office of Economic Development workshops will be held at Maui County Business Resource Center, Maui Mall, Suite B-9. To reserve a seat, call 270-5770. Workshops are free unless otherwise noted.
** "Learn How You Can Use Akaku" with Nicole Fisher will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Learn how you, your company or your organization can become part of the community using Akaku as a platform.
** "Long Term Care" will be from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday. Discuss what long term care entails, how to evaluate and assess your long term care needs, and how to navigate through all the available options.
