Ululani’s Shave Ice helps local theater

Ululani's Shave Ice is the main sponsor of, "Frozen Jr.," the upcoming Maui Academy of Performing Arts Summer Musical Theatre Camp production.
For a limited time, cool down with shave ice flavored with "Frozen" or a combo of "Let It Go" and "Frozen on Maui." A portion of the proceeds from the sales of this single flavor or combo will support the educational programs at MAPA throughout the end of this year.
"Frozen Jr." is an abbreviated live stage version of Disney's powerhouse hit from 2013. Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Hans, Sven the reindeer and, of course, Olaf are featured along with the show-stopping songs from the movie, and a few new ones.
Performances are 7 p.m. Fridays, July 19 and 26; 4 and 7 p.m. Saturdays, July 20 and 27; and 1 and 4 p.m. Sundays, July 21 and 28 at Seabury Hall's 'A'ali'ikuhonua Creative Arts Center in Makawao. Tickets are $10 to $15, with an 'Ohana days price of $10 for any seat during the Saturday shows.
Students have participated in a three-week performing arts conservatory program. That program has taught them stage combat, makeup skills, musical theory, contemporary dance, costume design along with 14 other courses.
