Do you have a soft spot for different colored eyes and big hearts? Then you've got to meet me, Kawa (Dog #111)! I'm a gentle 2 year old that was in very rough shape when I was brought to MHS last month. Thanks to their TLC, I'm on the mend and learning cool new things every day. Lately the volunteers have been training me to be a "Canine Good Citizen", and it's been so much fun for me. If you are looking for a good boy, then I'm the fella for you!

• The Pet of the Week is a Saturday feature submitted by the Maui Humane Society to promote adoptions at the Maui Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.
