• Business workshop with Kauwela Bisquera titled "Specialty Leasing 101″ will be held from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Maui County Business Resource Center, Maui Mall, Suite B-9, 70 E. This one-hour workshop will provide the essential topics when deciding to open a brick-and-mortar store, including the basic concept and terms of commercial leasing, the difference between permanent and specialty leasing, the leasing process, application preparation recommendations and insider tips.
• Maui Social Media School workshop, “Big Changes in Social Media” with Danielle Miller, will be from 1 to 4 p.m., Wednesday at Maui Research and Technology Center, 590 Lipoa Pkwy., Kihei. In this workshop, you will learn all about Facebook’s Creator Studio and how you can finally post to Instagram from your desktop, discover new privacy settings affecting Facebook groups, and be the first to hear about Instagram’s upcoming release of Create Mode.
