Maui Sunday Market lights up September with free music

Looking for something to do Sundays in September for fun and for free?

Maui Sunday Market is a family-friendly event featuring live entertainment, food trucks and product vendors from 4 to 8 p.m. each Sunday in the Kahului Shopping Center parking lot.

Entertainment on tap for the remainder of the month includes the Sept. 22 kick-off of the popular Family Bingo game from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. followed with a performance by Maui High School's Dance Club, Music Club and cheerleaders at 5:30 p.m. Capping off the evening, Madame Butterfly unleashes its unique sound and style from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

 The following week on Sept. 29, singer-songwriter Ron Kuala'au, who's also a gifted guitar and ukulele player, performs at 5:30 p.m.

And tomorrow, Corey Char from the group Madame Butterfly offers free ukulele lessons from 4:45 to 5 p.m. (ukulele not provided). Later, local band Inside Out rounds out the evening with a performance from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
