Maui Youth Philharmonic Orchestra's new season of classes kicks off today at 9 a.m. in the Baldwin High School Band Room, 1650 Ka'ahumanu Ave. in Wailuku.
Classes will be held each Saturday under the guidance of MYPO Music Director Iolani Yamashiro-Rahimi. Applying students should be able to read music fluently and have at least three years of experience.
Currently welcoming students who play the violin, viola, cello, bass, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, bass clarinet, French horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, percussionists and/or piano/keyboard.
