Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner Del Beazley will be performing at The Shops of Wailea from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Nov. 20.
The performance is part of Concerts at The Shops series.
Beazley is a singer, songwriter, composer and arranger with strong connections to Hawaiian music. A Makaha, Oahu, native, Beazley learned to play the ukulele at a young age from his grandparents, expanding his talents in high school to include guitar and slack key, the concert news release said.
He has played with many well-known Hawaii musicians, including the Makaha Sons of Ni'ihau, Teresa Bright and Sean Na'auao. A longtime friend of the late Israel "Bruddah Iz" Kamakawiwo'ole, Beazley is credited for composing the famous song "Hawaiian Supa Man."
Concerts at The Shops features headlining musicians and is a free monthly benefit concert series. This community series occurs on the third and fifth Wednesday of every month at the main Fountain Courtyard.
The Shops at Wailea supports a different Maui nonprofit each month with a portion of the special event parking fees going to the selected charity. The nonprofit recipient for November is Halau Ke'alaokamaile.
The four-hour signature event parking voucher is available for $5 and can be purchased at the nonprofit's parking table.
