Ukulele virtuoso Jake Shimabukuro will be performing in a Ho'onanea Series concert in the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's Castle Theater at 7:30 p.m. March 14.

He will be accompanied by members of his trio.

Tickets currently are on sale for MACC members and will be available to the general public on Jan. 25.

Known for his lightning-fast fingers as well as amazing breadth and depth of music, Shimabukuoro's repertoire includes music of all genres: mellow jazz and soulful blues, traditional Hawaiian tunes, classical music, bluegrass, flamenco and rock.

Shimabukuro's latest album is "The Greatest Day."

His concert is part of the MACC's Ho'onanea Series, so there will be preshow festivities in the courtyard, displays of Maui arts and crafts, with dinners, snacks and a full range of beverages available for purchase.

Tickets are $15, $25, $45, $65 with a limited number of premium $85 seats. Tickets are half-price for children 12 and under.
