• Business workshop titled “Simple Steps for Exiting Your Business” will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Maui County Business Resource Center, Maui Mall, Suite B-9, 70 E. Kaahumanu Ave., Kahului. This presentation will walk small business owners through some of the concerns they may have in planning for the continuation or disposition of their business. We will look at some of the things that might be considered to alleviate their succession planning concerns as such: types of assets and property, forms of businesses, valuing your business, buy-sell agreements, and wills, trusts and gifts. • Marketing through Storytelling masterclass with Nicole Fisher will be from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 28 at Maui Research and Tech Center, 590 Lipoa Parkway, Suite 219, Kihei. This masterclass will teach all who attend how to craft a message for the right customer, how to separate one’s self from the competition, finally figure out a brand’s unique voice and how to use it to get the results that you’re looking for.
